Thanks for the welcome. To be honest, I'm not sure if I can consider myself a 'true' Geohasher yet since I don't have a GPS and so can't undertake any in-depth expeditions at the moment. - [[User:Turbomagnus|turbomagnus]] 03:16, 4 February 2011 (EST)

:::I suppose. It's just that since most of the area where I am is forest and fields, without a GPS it's harder to know when the hashpoint is reached. It's like a bad comedy, "Hey man, this rock looks like that rock on the map", "Dude, that's no rock, that's a cow" or "The map showed a big pine tree, right?" "This is GEOR-GIA, every map shows big pine trees". (Not a bad one.) - [[User:Turbomagnus|turbomagnus]] 09:44, 4 February 2011 (EST)

Thanks for the welcome. To be honest, I'm not sure if I can consider myself a 'true' Geohasher yet since I don't have a GPS and so can't undertake any in-depth expeditions at the moment. - turbomagnus 03:16, 4 February 2011 (EST)
GPS or not - "true" geohashing is what you make of it. (Now is that a quote for the front page or what? :) - Mampfred 03:22, 4 February 2011 (EST)
I suppose. (Not a bad one.) - turbomagnus 09:44, 4 February 2011 (EST)
