Note the really dark grey sky in the background. An incredibly strong winter front came through moments after I reached the spot. Winds of up to 70 mph came through and a quick rain squall. Participants

Plans

I happened to be in Milwaukee for a job interview, staying with a relative in Brookfield. Incredibly, not only was the hashpoint nearby, but I only had to drive a few blocks out of my way to get there, not impacting my schedule for arriving at the interview.

Expedition

So I drove there easily. The exact spot was inside a fenced area holding industrial equipment. I guess I was about a few feet away.

Note the really dark grey sky in the background. An incredibly strong winter front came through moments after I reached the spot. Winds of up to 70 mph came through and a quick rain squall. But the winds continued for hours, cancelling flights, knocking down trees, etc. It was called one of the strongest winter storms in decades, affecting a path from Milwaukee down to Illinois.

Interview went well, but they didn't hire me. Good thing. I didn't really want to move to Milwaukee that much anyway.
