Satellite reveals it to be on Interstate 405 at the edge of an emergency vehicle turnaround.

This being just a few short miles south of where I work, I fired up the beast on the way home to go have a look. I figured I could pull over on the hash spot, snap a quick pic, then zip on out of there.
I could have done that -- and had an interaction with Johnny Law, who was parked there to issue speeding tickets and citations. I figured we were all better off if he did his job and I went home, so I took the next exit and headed home.
