About

This graticule contains Stuttgart with most of its densely populated surroundings. Other important cities are Ulm (with a small part also in 48, 10), Tübingen and Reutlingen. The main geographic feature are the "Schwäbische Alb" elevated plains which are - in southern german terms - a rather remote rural area with low population density. The graticule is located almost entirely in the German state Baden-Württemberg, except for a 6.2 km² piece (=0.075% of the graticule) of Bayern (Bavaria).

Expedition planning

Tuesday's hash is at Reutlingen, on a cycle path between Ohmenhausen and the centre. I've taken that path several times in the past, so it will be a Deja Vu geohash - although I fear I can't really prove that. Still, my bike got some problems on the way back from Saturday's hash and I haven't lucked in fixing it yet, so I'm not sure whether and when I can go. --Ekorren 14:44, 17 November 2008 (UTC)
