Location
In a public park type area (it's crisscrossed with hiking trails and has amenities like trailhead parking, water fountains, etc - obviously publicly accessible)

Plans
Drive there, leaving Fremont about 6:30 when the traffic dies in Niles Canyon/680. Drive to trailhead. Take public trails to near hashpoint, walk to hash.
That turns out to be a substantial hike. It's considerably nearer to hike from the residential street directly below. There's a trail that way.
If anybody wants to go along, I can pick you up at the Fremont BART on my way out.
