The hash lies in a forest near the Sösetalsperre above Osterode.

I want to hitchhike to there, do some usual things, and return home. I want to leave the Harz mountains before darkness, so this cannot become a xkcd-meetup.

Expedition

I failed again. I started at home at 10:30, started to hitchhike at 11:30, with intermediate stops at the junction of Göttingen, at Northeim and at Katlenburg I reached Osterode at 14:30. Then I tried to hitchhike up to the Söse barrage. Until 15:00, which had been my deadline, I didn't get a lift. So I gave up and returned home. I left Osterode at 15:30 and with stops in Katlenburg, Northeim, at the motorway junction of Northeim, then I passed Göttingen by bus and arrived at Kassel at 20:00.
