The -22,17 graticule covers Windhoek (Namibia's capital) in the west, Dordabis in the south, and Kapps Farm and Hosea Kutako International Airport in its center.

Most of this graticule's area is private farm land (mostly used for raising cattle and goats) with good chances of encountering not raptors but a large variety of game, predators and reptiles.

Although most hashes should be "easily" accessible (that is, if you don't mind walking through a thornbush savanna), it is advisable to get permission from the respective farmer before attempting to access it. The Windhoek graticule is in average approx. 1500m above sea level. However, the area contains quite a number of somewhat higher mountains. Among them is Namibia's second highest mountain: the Moltkeblick in the south-east of Windhoek with 2484m.

Upcoming Meetups

Besides games, we suggest also bringing along braai eqiupment, boerewors, rashers and whatever you feel like digesting after achieving the week's hashing goal.
