I got home from a short day walk this afternoon and, as I sat outside in the sun to read a book, I checked the hashes. D'oh! - missed an awesome one yesterday on the Brighton coast near where I was. But woah! Today's in only 5kms away!

I jumped on my bike and raced off. Sadly, Lachie wasn't around, despite it being very close to his house, so I proceeded alone.

Tracking the railway line I was swooped by a non-magpie, my first swooping this season in Melbourne. But it didn't prevent me from the reaching the hash, which was conveniently located right on the footpath, at the intersection, in front of the pedestrian push-button where people were awkwardly trying to cross.

I took my photos and rolled home. What an adventure!
