Use {{location|AU}} to tag expeditions that took place in Australia. It will add Category:Expeditions in Australia to the expedition.

Using ISO 3166-2 abbreviations, you may also tag the state/territory that the expedition took place in. The abbreviations Queensland, Tasmania and Victoria may be in full caps or have only the first letter capitalised.

If the category link appears red, do not worry and create the category. Make sure that it is included in the appropriate parent category, for instance, Category:Expeditions in the City of Melbourne is a subcategory of Category:Expeditions in Victoria which is a subcategory of Category:Expeditions in Australia. The subcategories should be sorted in by their respective code.
