Plans
I was participating in the Connecticut State Fencing Tournament (aka "states"). Turns out this hash was almost on the way home, with a small detour through Sandy Hook. My dad treated me to a drive to the hash (or as close as possible).
Expedition
Made it to the neighborhood around 4:16 PM (hey!). Turns out the hash was on someone's private property. I didn't get pictures of the "Posted" signs, but they were there. We got confronted by suspicious neighbors while taking pictures, so we ended up leaving early, without a selfie :(
I'm not sure how close we got to the hash, but it was darn close, within a few hundred feet.
This was my first hash attempt.
You can check the metadata of the photos for proof that I got there on the date shown (not the screenshots, the pictures).
