We wouldn't have tried this if it were far away as it didn't have a good chance of success. On the maps, it appeared that the Geohash was in a fenced-off vacant plot. Though, there were possibly accessible gates somewhere around, and if there were, it should be fine to enter.
That turned out not to be the case - there is now a business there that appears to rent out pallets for keeping refrigerated goods off the floor.
