'''Wilen is divided by the cantonal border'''. The Zurich part belonged to Oberstammheim from 1798 to 2018 and to Stammheim since 2019. From 1803 to 1853, Wilen in Thurgau was part of the local community of Niederneunforn in what was then the municipality of Neunforn. From 1853 to 1886 the entire village formed a civil community based on a Thurgau-Zurich treaty, but remained divided between Oberstammheim and Neunforn.

Expedition

That evening when I dropped my kids off at their clubs, I drove through the thick fog in the dark towards Geohash... It's the usual fall season in this region. There is a suitable parking space for the car nearby. At the signpost to the nearby hamlet of Wilen near Neunforn, I walked over a strip of grass at the edge of the fields. Then I took the shortest route through the planted field to the coordinates without damaging the plants. After the proofs, took the same way back. Before I picked up the kids again, I looked for and found two geocaches in the fog...
