Report
CJ arrived at the geohash location just before 3pm and scouted out the area. It looked like this was going to be the easiest geohash yet! The actual hash point was located directly behind a hedge on the front lawn of a house on Lane Cove Rd. CJ knew that Shady was also planning on attending, and so waited for him to arrive.
Shady arrived around 10 minutes later (after not paying attention and driving straight past the location) and together they managed to locate the geohash marker which was hiding right behind the hedge (see photos below). After taking some photos they sat down on the front wall of the neighbouring house and ate some cookies which Shady had brought along with him. They sat, ate cookies, and chatted about geohashing for about half an hour.
Just as they were standing up to leave, they saw someone approaching on bicycle and waving at them. Either it was a friendly geohasher wave, or one of the zombies from their previous hash together had managed to track them down. It turned out it was Flowblok, and he had just earned the Bicycle Geohash achievement! Flowblok introduced Shady and CJ to his python Tim who interprets for him.
As we had visited from the internet we thought that it was only fitting that we leave a calling-card, and so CJ delivered the note (see photos) to the letterbox of the house. Admittedly the house was empty as it was up for sale, but you never know who might be checking the mail...
Geohash successful!
