On my way home from work, take a major detour then walk about 300m from the nearest street.

I went after work, and found a significant hill and retaining wall between my parking space and the hash. I went up the steps in the retaining wall and found a barbed-wire fence to what was obviously farmland beyond. I do not cross these types of fences onto a work-site (farm). So, I walked along the fence to where the land dropped away and I might look towards the hash site. I got to an access road to a nearby water service tank for this new suburb. There, I got a view into the tree area where the hash is sited. This was also where the local electrical contractors stored their spare light poles.
I got as close as I reasonably could to the hash, without disobeying the law.
