My first geohash! yay...

This was mostly a spontaneous thing. I have been reading xkcd for the past 6-ish years and was recently reminded of the geohash comic. So, I gave it a try today. Luckily, the hash was not on water and whatnot. Maybe doing it the day after a snowstorm/sleetstorm wasn't the best idea, but whatever.

I ended up parking at the lower lot of the Audobon trailhead and walking up to about where the hash was. The actual hash was literally in someone's house, but there were "No trespassing" signs posted everywhere, so I just stapled my geohashing.info poster to a random tree and upped. Unfortunately, I stapled it on the wrong side of the road.

I'll upload images once I get home.
