This graticule at 41,28 contains most of the Rumelian, European part of Istanbul. The Anatolian part of the city is contained in 41,29. Istanbul used to be the capital of Turkey until it moved to Ankara in the 1920s, but it's still the largest city in the country.
There's lots of water, but that's alright, since mass transit goes everywhere and the city has so many graticules close by.
