Expedition

On his way home from a workshop in Bavaria, pah finally found the time for a detour to visit his Origin geohash! From Munich, he went by train to Landshut and convinced a taxi driver there to bring him to Volkmanndorf, a small village in the Wang municipality. During the ride, they talked about geohashing and the driver obviously questioned pah's sanity. Still, he agreed to even drive on a small, unpaved path close to the hash and wait for the crazy guy from the internet to complete his strange business.

After a 15 minute walk, pah arrived on a currently unused, open field on a small hill and quickly found his origin hash! He tried planting an oak from an acorn he found earlier, took some pictures and went back to the waiting taxi driver to return back to the Landshut train station and from there further home towards Düsseldorf by train.
