Expedition

Picked up my drag-along for a run to a big box store. I asked if he was willing to take a side quest and he said sure.

First, we went to Zaxby's at the Turnpike to grab lunch. We drove to a family cemetery to find a shady spot for lunch. Unfortunately, it is also a favorite lunch spot for the local Sheriff's Office. Five cars were there when we arrived and a sixth pulled in; they were using the shelter. I showed Ray all the family graves, and then we pulled to the side of the road and ate our lunch.

Next, we followed the directions to the Geohash. This didn't work out. We tried to find the exact point but were thwarted. Both roads bordering the location had fences with No Trespassing signs. The closest we could get was one-tenth of a mile. I used drag-along's phone to take a picture of my phone with the directions and the fence with the sign.

Improv earned the No trespassing consolation prize
by almost (one-tenth of a mile) reaching the (28, -82) geohash on 2024-03-03.
