Elgin UK is not the most challenging graticule in the whole of Scotland, only half of it being the water. Getting around to the north-eastern tip of somewhere on the western fringe will test my dedication. So this time, a watery geohash is a Failed Geohash. Venue is now set for 57.724098°, -3.350491°, the first point for landfall south of the geohash.
I'll in the water with my wellies, stretching northwards the boundaries of what "landfall" can mean. I haven't checked the tides yet: I hope this doesn't mean that the water will be IN my wellies ...
