- Ingham
Have I mentioned how I hate bastards who live in graticules that don't suck arse? Monday in Ingham the point is in a cane field, so could be accessed within at least about 50m (or closer, depending on if they've harvested, and how friendly the farmers are).
- Ayr
Ayr's point looks quite open and friendly, and possibly even quite simple to get to. It looks like you just go to Woodstock, follow Webb Rd, then along Dingo Park Rd until it turns to dirt, and then keep on driving. No worries.
- Townsville
Bizarrely, our point for Monday appears to be near an airstrip in the middle of nowhere. Alien landing site, maybe?

I'm going to Charters Towers today! It's too good to turn up!
(If I had a copilot to share fuel and boredom with, I'd also do Clark River. Two in one day!) --Matty 21:27, 4 December 2008 (UTC)
Miscellaneous
Hi Twistie. Do I know you? --Matty
Hey, I dunno. I'm a first year IT student at JCU. I have a feeling I have heard your name before but I'm just not sure. -- Twistie
Page Structure
I think it's good having the Saturday map links on the main page, and a brief description for the current/past ones. However, as Simon suggested, I'm quite happy for ephemeral discussions (about attempting hashes and stuff) to live here on the discussion page. If anyone else wants to update the Current Meetup Location section early on Saturdays, you're most welcome. Also, when we start running out of upcoming Saturdays, feel free to chuck in another months' worth of links. --Matty
