Contains the township of Balclutha. A good half of the Caitlins graticule is taken up by the Pacific Ocean.

The Catlins has an amazing graticule, that which is not taken up by water is taken up by beautiful native forest or rolling paddocks. (-46,169). About 50% of it is land.
