This graticule is located at 58,-3. It contains the county of Caithness along with some of neighbouring Sutherland and parts of the Orkney Islands. It is quite sparsely populated with only a few small towns and some even smaller villages. Places of note include the village of John o' Groats which is known for charity events involving traveling between there and Land's End in Cornwall, Dunnet Head which is the most northerly point in mainland Britain, and the nuclear research facility of Dounreay.
