Handshake achievement

Description

Claim this achievement if you have met several other geohashers on your attempts (succesful or not) to go geohashing. Thus, it does not count if you have met geohashers under different circumstances or have known them before but never went geohashing with them. Your drag-alongs will only count to this number if they started to go geohashing independently after being dragged by you. Hashscots met do never count.

Proof

To claim this achievement you should in some way list the geohashers you have met, probably on your user page and with photos and/or links to the respective expeditions.

• 5 to 9 geohashers met earns you the Little Finger Handshake achievement:

Honourable Mention

In sparsely populated areas it is harder to claim this achievement, of course, but you might still be able to claim this honourable mention if you met at least half of the geohashers in your and the eight surrounding graticules with a minimum of two.
