:People often make a note on the Talk:Vancouver, British Columbia page with what time they are aiming at, for coordination purposes, but in my opinion what you did is pure, perfect geohashing. I wasn't there because I'm here. I'm delighted to have you join the Vancouver/Surrey team. We're a little scattered right now, but keep going to geohashes and eventually we'll converge. I recommend you buy same sidewalk chalk (I got a big bucket for a couple of bucks) so you can mark your hashes and give others the excitement of knowing they have found a geohash, even if they aren't there at the same time as you. -70.74.69.6 17:20, 7 June 2010 (UTC)

Hooray for Canada indeed! And hooray for mysterious new geohahsers! Welcome to the area! Sorry no one else tried for today's coordinates, but I'm sure we'll all run into each other soon! -- user:thepiguy 06:41, 4 June 2010 (UTC)

I'll alleviate the mysteri....osity...ness of the new hasher in the near future and put up a user page, promise. :-P I was rather surprised that this one wasn't done, it was literally right off Royal Oak; close to a bus stop and everything IIRC. I've been in Burnaby almost two years now, but new enough to still be welcomed I supposed :-P Is there a regular big meetup or just "pre-plan" a big expedition when there is an easy spot to get to? -- MistStlkr 06:50, 4 June 2010 (UTC)
