Expedition
Todd's Ride
I left home a little bit later than I should have to leave enough time to get to this and still pick up the kids when I was supposed to. This lead to the excruciating coming to terms with being very nearby a certain victory without enough time to get to it. Very disappointing. I did manage to pick up some groceries on the bike ride back though, but this only took about ten minutes, still not enough time that I could have used it get to the geohash.
Oddly, as I made a turn from the main road to a neighborhood, I'd just passed a man running, and when I stopped to check my directions on my GPS, I found that he'd taken the same turn and gotten ahead of me again. Once again, I went the wrong way and stopped, and after backtracking found that, not only had the runner gotten ahead of me again, but he'd gone off the neighborhood road onto a rough dirt road which happened to be the way I was going. When I finally faced up to having to turn around, I thought that he must be going after the geohash, but there is no sign of any posting about it.
