I felt extremely lucky when looking up this day's geohash location. As it happens I will have to be within 1 km from here on Saturday morning (alas!) to pick up my son. As it is so close I will see how accurate the Google Maps satellite image is.

Expedition

So how did it work out? A complete and utter failure! First Palmpje could not look for a geocache because a muggle was standing on top of it. The next two were in front gardens and not immediately visible. Palmpje feels such a fool for trying these... And then? Palmpje searched all pockets, all over his rucksack, but his note for today's hash coordinates was not to be found. He made a halfhearted attempt at a no batteries hash, but alas, he could not really figure out which house was the hash location. Did Palmpje enjoy all of this? Not really. Note to self: Enter a waypoint for the hash in your GPSr!

Achievements

Palmpje earned the Utter Failure Consolation Prize by loosing the coordinates of the (52, 4) geohash on 2012-07-21.
