Location

A private farm in or near Scott Township, Illinois.

Participants

  • RocketMac - On his way home from St. Louis, MO.

Plans

Every time I drive somewhere for work, I check the route for possible hashes along the way. Depending on timing, I could actually mark off the last two graticules for my Minesweeper award!

It'd been a long week of work and I wasn't getting on the road until after 5pm, so it was going to be pushing it.

Expedition

On the drive from the Southern hashpoint, I passed this wind farm whirling on the horizon. With the sunset and the stars rising, it was a heck of a view so I stopped for some pictures.

By the time I made it to the road (loose term) to the North of the hashpoint, it was very dark. There was evidence by flashlight that at best my trespassing would be soggy and possibly worse. I spent some time pondering it before sobering up and moving on.

I so badly wanted to finish off my Minesweeper achievement, but not like this.

Tracklog
