StatMan22: It was a real easy trip there after work. Parked pretty much right on the spot... It was freezing out though and the GPS was a bit jumpy, so it took a long time to get the exact coordinates. I walked around in a 5 foot circle for about 5 minutes, then my hands got too cold and I probably looked a bit odd to the cars driving past. Ended up actually getting the coordinates dead on when I got back in the car! I tried to carve an "XKCD" in the snow bank with my keys in case Swoop came by later, but it was pretty rock solid. I ended up throwing a slab of ice on top of it to signify human involvement... I assume he did not notice. Photos to come!

Swoop2:  Well things fell apart at work today so I got out to late to go after work.  But I did manage to drag my entire family along on this quest a few hours later.  I arrived at 9:20PM so it was quite dark and bitterly cold.  Two of my kids jumped up on the snowbank that StatMan22 mentioned (thanks for thinking of us).  We got a few blurry, frozen pictured and jumped back into our warm minivan.  StatMan22, great photos!  Thanks for sharing.

Location

It appears to be a very reachable hash, on a sidewalk in a nice neighborhood in Lake Zurich.

Participants

StatMan22
Swoop2

Plans

StatMan22: Once I get home from work and pick up a camera, I will go right over! The hash is just over a mile driving distance from my house.

Swoop2: I may be able to drive over after work. It is a 3 mile detour from my normal route home.

Expedition
