:Actually, you could leave the 48,-122 hash point anytime after 1:00 am, as that is the hour that will be repeated. ::Going for a Time-Traveller Geohash award, I see. The time-traveller award has only been given once before for DST shenanigans, in Austria (at the 47N latitude, no less!). Original Plans
I will definitely be at the Sunday point, since it's very close to my home. -- AeroIllini (talk) 12:12, 1 November 2013 (EDT)
- Crazy idea time - Hang out at the Sunday hash point in 48, -122 until the clock changes backward (Sunday morning at 1:59 am), then drive to the Seattle point to arrive at the same time. Google maps says the trip is 76 miles, but wimps out to 1 hour 26 minutes. The point in 46,-122 is also quite accessible, and... even further in distance. Corvallis OR to Washougal WA is not too shabby either. --Thomcat (talk) 19:00, 1 November 2013 (EDT)
- Actually, you could leave the 48,-122 hash point anytime after 1:00 am, as that is the hour that will be repeated. This is sounding like a less-and-less crazy idea... --Thomcat (talk) 19:02, 1 November 2013 (EDT)
- Going for a Time-Traveller Geohash award, I see. The time-traveller award has only been given once before for DST shenanigans, in Austria (at the 47N latitude, no less!). This would be a North American first! I'm game if you are. -- AeroIllini (talk) 19:37, 1 November 2013 (EDT)

46,-122
The logistics of stomping around in a farmer's field at 1 in the morning could be interesting, though. Maybe some early contact to ask permission? -- AeroIllini (talk) 19:37, 1 November 2013 (EDT)
- Looks like the hash point is behind the properties on Dusty Lane. Bonus - a property across the street is for sale - zillow. Close the deal fast and you could have a couch potato :) --Thomcat (talk) 20:00, 1 November 2013 (EDT)
- Haha, perhaps. Any thoughts on contacting our friend the farmer at 5205 Dusty Drive in Burlington, WA sometime tomorrow, to prevent incidents involving shotguns at 1 in the morning? Thomcat, are you going to be north at all tomorrow? -- AeroIllini (talk) 20:05, 1 November 2013 (EDT)
- Although, looking at the plat lines, the hash may belong to the house across the way, on Parkridge Pl. -- AeroIllini (talk) 20:11, 1 November 2013 (EDT)

47,-122
Aero, you definitely need to scout the Sunday 47,-122 location beforehand (today?) to see if it is achievable. If behind a fence or otherwise no-trespass, then further plans are a no-go. --Thomcat (talk) 20:00, 1 November 2013 (EDT)
- I will stop by today, although I scouted it in Street View and it seems very achievable. -- AeroIllini (talk) 20:05, 1 November 2013 (EDT)
Weather
Rain expected at both 1:00 am times, according to hour-by-hour forecast on weather.com --Thomcat (talk) 20:00, 1 November 2013 (EDT)
