I live in the Los Angeles, California, graticule. After lurking for more than a year, I am going to try my first expedition on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 -- just across the Los Angeles River from Griffith Park.

• 2013-12-18: My first expedition! Rancho Drive, just north of the Bette Davis Picnic Area in Griffith Park.
