About
In a building in an office park, at which Everglades University is located.
Expedition Reports
Dtobias
The point wound up inside a building in a business park known for its connection with tech fields... it would have been neat if somebody acquainted with Geohashing worked in there and could claim an achievement for it (Couch Potato? Or the equivalent for workplaces?). I went over there after work to check it out, and it turned out that this particular building is part of Everglades University, so it would be a student who would be able to claim whatever achievement applies to the hashpoint turning up wtihin one's school. None seems to have surfaced, though. Anyway, the hashpoint is somewhere a little ways into the building right at the point where it makes a graceful curve, which happens to be right where there's an entrance... unfortunately, it's an entrance with a guarded checkpoint and a sign saying you need to show a student ID, which I obviously don't have as I don't attend this university. Somebody less shy than myself might have tried to talk their way past the guard, but I was too chicken to even try, and settled for photographing the outside of the building and not getting the last few feet to the hashpoint.
