The coordinates were remarkably convenient -- smack dab in the middle of someone's house, just southeast of Gladstone and Melrose, which eventually became the de facto location for the meet.
The event
Kevin arrived at about 3:55 PM Eastern time and biked around a bit, looking out for anyone else who may have been coming. By 4:05, he decided he was the only one after all, put up a little sign with the geohashing site and a plug for his own blug, and took a self-portrait. This was precisely the moment that Albert arrived. They took some more pictures of each other and talked about local theatre. (Related news: the Orpheus Musical Theatre Society is putting on The Sound Of Music in June.)
