It sounds like Bangarang's badonkadonk is bigger than expected. Should anything be brought to improve her, like paint? Maybe projectiles, like a microwave? --Clintron 01:12, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
- Really we could just use a definite figure on the weight and recalculate figures based on actual dimensions. We don't have any ready means of testing the counterweight's mass other than counterbalancing the arm with a known quantity, I just haven't done it yet as the thing needs a solid axle before anything else. The bend is an easy 5-10 degree bow in the main pivot - I'm planning to cannibalize the drive shaft of some old junker once a suitable junker is secured. Paint couldn't hurt; I've got some good rustoleum sprays and sealers that will help once I strip the surface rust off. Once all that's done, I think she'll live up to her name. Unless, of course, this particular trebuchet happens to identify as male.
