I'm a mechanical engineer from Connecticut. I haven't done a successful trek yet but when I do it will most likely be in the Hartford, Connecticut graticule. Check out my blog.

Moscow, Russian Federation

As of June 2, 2008, I am in Moscow hoping that Saturday's location will be accessible by the Metro. If so I will be there. The only tool that I have which could help me get there is Google Maps, through which I can find land marks and distances. I have a GPS data logger which may be useful as proof. I can't read it in real time though. It's an AMOD AGL3080. I also have a digital camera. The photos I take with it can be geotagged with the AMOD. Wish me luck!

We would take your word, in any case, as this is not a race or a contest. We just do this for fun. Let us know when you return to the Hartford area. Hopefully there will be a Geo Hash point which is not on private property, or in the middle of Long Island Sound.
