Hello

Hello all! I attempt as many hashes as I can, but am limited by having a job and distance.

A little bit about me

I am an 8th grade science teacher who loves the outdoors. I ride my bike to work and love what I do. I am the assistant coach for my school's fast pitch softball team. I have lived in the same graticule (30 -81) for most of my life so I know a lot of the area. I just hope my bike can get me where I need to go.

PS: My brothers are also in this ( Woodveil ). They beat me getting started.

Geohashes I've scouted

2009-01-25 swamp2.jpg On 2009-01-25. My third attempt. The hash should be reachable. Will I finally reach a point? Click and read my dramatic tail.
2009-01-18 sign3.jpg On 2009-01-18. Two weeks since my last attempt, I now have a simple GPS and some time on my hands. The hash was close and appears to be reachable. Click and see how it went.
2009-01-02 Bike and Car.jpg On 2009-01-02. Being very interested in completing a geohash before having to go back work I checked the coordinates right at 9:30 EST. It was only six miles away. And in a location that I thought would be easily accessible. How did it end up? Click and see.

Mr. Bow Tie earned the There might be alligators! consolation prize
by being prevented from reaching the 2009-01-25/30,-81 (30, -81) geohash on date 2009-01-25 by an impassable and unforeseen Classic Florida Swamp (and probably lurking alligators).
