Looks like it was a pretty scenic good time!  Congrats!  And you're getting close to halfway on the NC regional geohash.  That would be quite impressive!  I'm still holding some ambition to do the same in Michigan, but even if the state wasn't almost 700 miles long, there's quite a few grats with very little land, and a couple of those are Isle Royale.  But way to be inspiring!  --[[User:Excellentdude|excellentdude]] 00:52, 12 April 2009 (UTC)

:Thanks!  We're lucky that there's a lot of farm land out east and national forests in the western parts.  But don't give up with your tough ones like Manistique and Charlevoix - we had a graticule like that at the coast, but nailed it on New Years Day with a million-in-one shot! -- [[User:Ncbears|NCBears]] 14:11, 12 April 2009 (UTC)

Thanks! We're lucky that there's a lot of farm land out east and national forests in the western parts.
