Just done my first hash, will keep an eye out for the local, easily accessible hashes, and maybe go further afield on the weekends. Ive noticed that due to Auckland's shape, a fair chunk end up in the surrounding ocean (no fair, and disappointing!). Just realised NZ's potential in claiming East geohash achievement (record is currently 175.547533°E), currently held by InvaluableKiwi, will keep my eye on that! A kiwi was also the holder of the South geohash achievement, but got pipped by someone in South America.
