From what I gather, it's a cleared strip to make way for large equipment that uses underground sound waves for oil and gas exploration. There's lots of forestry and mining here, but I had never seen a "seismic cutline". From what I gather, it's a cleared strip to make way for large equipment that uses underground sound waves for oil and gas exploration.
