My name is Neil. My status is geohash newbie.
On 7th August 2010, I visited the co-ordinates in the graticule Cambridge UK. No one else was there.
My user name is a play on words and a tribute to controlled folly.
I enjoy computer programming and wrote an implementation of "Life" in BASIC in 1972. The creatures were printed on a paper roll by a mechanical teletype. Those were the days. Later in 1976 I taught programming to school kids. We used Algol! We filled in coding forms and submitted them to be punched onto cards for the overnight run.
