Expedition

Expedition-impression by Crissar
First of all, I read about this hobby in a geocaching blog some days ago, maybe it were weeks.
So I began to watch my home graticule for a spot that was easily to reach.
Today it was quite perfect. Only 2,5km away from my home destination I started walking quite after coming home from work.
By viewing the map I nearly knew where my journey was going to, because a few days ago I placed a geocache nearby.
On my way I saw some roe deers that were jumping over the way only 70-80m in front of me.
I walked some known paths that would be good for biking as well until I arrived a road junction from where it was a little bit more difficult to go on. It was still a smaller trail, but some timberworks and rain from the last days made the path a little muddy and littered by the rests of the trees that were cut down.
The last 30-40m I had to walk up the hill to reach the hashpoint.
And for my very first hash point, I have to say, that it is a stupid hobby. ;-) Going out and there is nothing to find. OK, I'm addicted to geocaching. But nevertheless it was quite fun to go out to the nature, having a goal to reach even there is no box where a logbook waits which I can sign.
The way back was relaxed and I saw some more roe deers that passed the way.
