Hi! Greetings from Finland and welcome to the geohashing community! Every graticule has its own disadvantages, don't let that discourage you. For example in Iowa there is probably not as much snow and freezing temperatures as here in Finland. (Sorry, I had to check from the map where Iowa is :) Tilley 14:20, 3 January 2013 (EST)
