Location
South of Livermore, CA in an old mining town. The hash site was on the driveway to a private farm, behind a locked gate.
Participants
Plans
This was my first hash. I took three friends from Santa Cruz. We stopped at the Joseph D. Grant county park on the way up for some lakeside hiking, then continued on the *extremely curvy* road to the hash site.
Expedition
We didn't make it to the actual hash site, but got close and got to explore part of California none of us had ever seen before.
Before getting to the hash site, we stopped at Joseph D. Grant county park, where we spent an hour hiking around the lake and making noise at various farm animals nearby.
The road to the actual site was really twisty, so we took it slow out to the site. Unfortunately, the site itself turned out to be behind a gated driveway on private property, and we couldn't find anyone to ask permission. We ended up at The Junction Bar and Grill about two miles from the site, where we chatted with a few locals and played games before heading home.
