...but reaching the hash as you can see on the photos the weather wasn't all that good. The grounds were really wet from the rain and the melting snow and so I was really careful parking the car on the agricultural road leading close to the hash, as I didn't want to get stuck in the mud. I walked the last 300m into the forest to the hash. I suppose that the trees there were planted really close to each other to harvest them as Christmas trees. And the exact hashpoint was just in the middle of that really dense small plantation. I tried to squeeze myself in there and got really wet trying. So I decided that 18m is close enough, isn't it?

Plans

  • Plan for tomorrow: reaching two geohashs on one day in 48 11 and 48 12 on my way visiting a friend close to Salzburg -- Knallgöwer (talk) @48.3339,11.6562 15:04, 9 March 2013 (CET)

Expedition

After a really rainy night in Munich I started my expedition at around 9 am on this Sunday morning and on my way to the hash the sun came out once or twice...

  • Wow! I started in Munich with heavy pouring rain and as I get closer to the hash the sun comes out. -- Knallgöwer (talk) @47.9719,11.7626 09:41, 10 March 2013 (CET)

...but reaching the hash as you can see on the photos the weather wasn't all that good.

On my way back to the car I enjoyed the nice view on the alps in the distance...although you can't really see it on the photo.
