I left home at 8 a. m., took the tram 7 and the bus 52 until the stop Schauenburg-Hoof, Bahnhof (railway station). On my journey to the hash I saw, that in the mountains above Kassel was a fog. So I had the luck to search for the hash again in fog. I arrived in Hoof and there it was, the fog. I walked along the forest way to the place and found a field with young plants instead a meadow at the hash. And the ground of the field was of some sort mud, which was not to walk on. Maybe after a short walk I would have some tons of mud at my shoes, it was not the sort of mud, which I usually have in the forests. So I decided not to go onto the field.

Plans

I wanted to go there by bus, to look around, and to hitchhike home.

Expedition

On the way back to the village I found a sign leading to a historic castle, named Schauenburg, saying the source of the village. I walked to that place and found a steep and wet stair and that was too steep and wet for me in that time. Then I mad a walk through Hoof and took there some photos.

Because of the fog I decided not to hitchhike home, because the car drivers wouldn't have seen me and if one would stop the next car could not see that. So I took the bus home.
