Congratulations! Well, personally I'd have no problem with you claiming the Geotrashing Achievement. It might not have been right at the hash coordinates, but it was on the direct way home, linked to the expedition and you made the forest a bit less "trashy", so I think it's all in the spirit of the achievement.
