Feel free to copy this comment to discussion in any case, but I propose this title simply because this graticule certainly isn't Roanoke, nor Lynchburg. (Roanoke-Salem would be a more convenient center point, and Lynchburg would be a convenient focus for what is currently known as "Appomattox," but there's the obvious problem of "the lines fall where they fall." Thus, I rejected Roanoke-Lynchburg as a name. Following the tradition of the "[[Shenandoah Valley|Shenandoah Valley, Virginia]]" graticule nearby, I thought something indicating a similar but unique name would be an acceptable compromise. I have never been particularly clear on the preferred definition of "the Blue Ridge Mountains," but as Blue Ridge does appear in the graticule, I found it appropriate.
