Globalhash!
This is in somebody's back yard. Are the Portland contingent planning to attend? Anyone from Seattle? What time is appropriate for visiting someones back yard on a Sunday afternoon? --Thomcat (talk) 14:04, 29 April 2016 (UTC)
- I'm thinking/planning about it. It seems to be a set of apartments, originally built for the Navy. I sent a note to the Portland mailing list - we'll see who responds, but it hasn't been very active down here.... Jiml (talk) 14:20, 29 April 2016 (UTC)
- I have a practical exam that weekend that should be done Sunday around noon. I'd like to make the trek out from PDX to grab a Globalhash. Shmur (talk)
- Google says it's a 3 hour drive for me, so 4:00 would be a good time to shoot for. -- User:Thomcat
Plans/Carpools
Sounds like Thomcat is going to be coming down from Seattle
- Fairly likely, absolutely no takers yet on the car pool. Oh, and it's my birthday. --Thomcat (talk) 18:11, 30 April 2016 (UTC)
Jim's going to be coming from Beaverton/Hillsboro, and will be free to start out around 11:30 or Noon due to an earlier morning commitment. Google says it will be about 2-2.5 hours for me, so 4PM sounds livable.
Shmur's coming from PDX, but I'm not sure if they are interested in carpooling.
Congrats!
