Lance, if you encounter him on a geohash, may go by the name of Mike.
Lance lives in the Manchester graticule (52N,2E), and is a student currently between colleges. Yeah, he dosn't actually do anything, which should give him time to visit some randomly-generated adventures.
Lance has not yet completed a geohash, however, has in the past thrown a dart at a map of the city, got on his bike, and went there.
Lance's next possible geohashes will be between 2nd and 5th June, permiting weather and location.
