*[[User:Torodeas|Torodeas]] ([[User talk:Torodeas|talk]]): I'm interested in meeting a with my fellow German hashers. Since I don't really want to go hashing on bikes or by car, I am quite limited which hashes I can reach, so I would probably prefer defining a "region" so I can find a nice place to stay for a night or two, and selecting the hash in question when the exact locations become available. We're probably going to have the best public transport access around the Rhein/Ruhr region, but that also makes it more likely it's in a building we can't get to.

Voting system

In the first round of voting, we will select a graticule as a rough location. When the coordinates are announced, we will decide if we want to go to any of the eight surrounding graticules instead, or to the central graticule that was selected in the first round.

We are using the same system as in 2011. Each wiki user can cast a vote. We're using the Schulze method for voting and this website with whole vote IRV in case of a tie as a calculator:

  • Rank the nominated locations in order of preference, you may give the same preference to more than one location and you may choose not to rank every location
  • Post your ranking below in the format of : [loc with rank 1] > [loc with rank 2] > ... --~~~~ and use the equality sign to indicate equal preference
  • You cannot change your vote, unless a new location is nominated after you have cast your vote
  • Please only vote for locations which you can attend. This is meant to determine the best location that large numbers of people can get to.
  • Unranked places are assumed to be equal, and lower than everything else. A > B is the same as A > B > C = D = ...

First round of voting

Vote here! Votes can be added or changed (deadline TBD)

Participants

Everyone from inside or outside of Germany is welcome! Add yourself if interested.

  • Fippe: I'd be open to go to anywhere in Germany for a larger meetup.
  • Torodeas (talk): I'm interested in meeting a with my fellow German hashers.

Maybes

  • Baarde: I'm not sure I'll be able to come.

Can't comes

  • globescorer: sorry... would love to, but can not... because of family obligations... unfortunately
