Hooray ! After a long break, a cache which is not on houses, factories, private land with no footpath and overlooked by a house, or in a far corner of the reticule from home ! Knowing this area well from caching I was confident that the hash point would be accessible, being on, or next to, the footpath. There's even a convenient free car park maybe 250m away. This was just too good to miss, even with ominous clouds threatening (but, in the end, not delivering) heavy rain

Parked, wandered to the hash point, photographed the biodegradable hash marker I'd bought along (a thin slice of last year's xmas tree, deliberately cut and kept for the purpose) at the precise spot according to my GPS, amid a sprinkling of duck and goose feathers, then continued around the reservoir for a pleasant little ramble.
