Hooray ! After a long break, a cache which is not on houses, factories, private land with no footpath and overlooked by a house, or in a far corner of the reticule from home ! Knowing this area well from caching I was confident that the hash point would be accessible, being on, or next to, the footpath. There's even a convenient free car park maybe 250m away.
